Act Sports Di Oyibo U-18 began their Thailand tour in style with a resounding 9–1 victory over PT Prachuap FC Academy in a friendly played at The Pine Resort Stadium. The match was structured into three 30-minute periods, giving both teams the chance to rotate players and test their systems.
The opening period ended 1–1, with Act Sports still adjusting after their long journey from Nigeria. The captain admitted that the first half was difficult, saying: “The first 30 minutes were a big challenge. We were still feeling the travel and adapting to the time difference, but we stayed focused.”
In the second period, Act Sports found their rhythm. With sharper pressing and quicker transitions, they took control of the midfield and moved into a 4–1 lead. By the third period, the team’s fitness and intensity proved decisive. Five more goals followed as the Nigerians dominated possession and showed composure in the final third.
Reflecting on the turnaround, the captain added: “In the second and third periods we settled into the game, imposed our strength and pressure, and the goals followed.”
The result highlights a strong start to the Thailand tour for Act Sports Di Oyibo U-18, demonstrating resilience after a tough opening spell and quality in attack once the team settled.
